OUR BIG GAME PHOTO SAFARI AT THE LOS ANGELES ZOO

A love for animals combined with a passion for photography makes my ever-growing "A Face Like Yours..." portofolio an inevitable lifetime project. I've held a membership at the Los Angeles Zoo for the past few years, and it's a truly wonderful resource for city-bound nature/wildlife photographers.

I'd love to travel to Africa, Asia, South America or any of the other exotic locales where these special animals live, but time, money and day-to-day responsibilities place that possibility in the one-of-these-days dream catogory.

So for now, a walk around the Los Angeles Zoo provides all the safari I can manage, and with the aid of a long lens, I can omit all traces of mankind's touch from most of my wildlife images.
